The founder of Partner in Education, Dr. Conrad-Curry has worked in education for more than twenty-five years. Her expertise in literacy and differentiated instruction has made her a sought after consultant, presenter, and keynote speaker. Dr. Conrad-Curry’s work with cross disciplinary curricula in the 1990s allowed her to work with Willard Daggett and Roger Taylor in the development of innovative curricula centered in rigor, relevance, and differentiation before such terms became commonplace in educational lexicon.

Since those days, Dea has worked with thousands of teachers to impact the learning of countless young students. Dea’s innovative approaches to curriculum and instruction step beyond academic convention to create robust teaching environments. Enthusiastic yet focused, Dea’s approaches are based in educational research balanced by school and district needs.

A life-long learner, Dea earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction and two Master’s Degrees: the first in Linguistics and Language and the second in Educational Administration. She has been recognized with numerous educational and teaching awards, including four listings in Who’s Who in America’s Teachers and several Midwestern college awards naming her “Most Outstanding Teacher.”
